Randy is a new member of the Leadership Team. Randy goes to Ocean Grove School and is 14 years old. He has been riding for one year and his favorite horses are Dancer and Marshmallow. He would love to have his own horse facility. He just simply loves hanging out with the horses and kids as Pleasant Valley Horse Club.
Alex is fourteen and also has been riding since she was five. Alex doesn't understand how people can live without horses. She has a gregarious personality and gets along well with both kids and trainers at PVHC. Alex's favorite horse, to whom she is fully devoted, is Little Mouse, a sixteen year old Arabian. She dreams of being a traveling vet one day, but in the meanwhile is thrilled to be working with the kids and rescue horses at Pleasant Valley Horse Club.
Maddie is eleven years old and has been riding with PVHC for one year now. Maddie goes to Rio Del Mar school. Maddie started riding a sweet horse named T.C., Maddie is now working with a beatufil Peruvian Paso named Dancer. Maddie took Dancer to their first show in March (way to go team). They did a great job! Maddie says that her favorite thing at PVHC is to work with the horses and to help the new kids learn to ride. Maddie goal is to become a horse trainer. And you can do it Maddie!
The Leadership Team is a group of 12-17 year old individuals who have shown consistency and commitment to equitation, and to Pleasant Valley Horse Club. Together the Leadership Team helps newer students through their early lessons; assists with tacking horses; feeding, watering, and mucking stalls; ensure all the horses are ridden; take the Kid's Camp participants on trail rides, and basically help the Club run smoothly. These teenagers also take regular lessons, and perform in horse shows around the area. In the afternoons the Leadership Team works with horses on the ranch.

Lucas doubles as a member of the Leadership team and an Instructor at Pleasant Valley Horse Club. At 15 Lucas has already won the AA California State Championships for Barrel Racing in 2005, and he is beginning the new season circuit of shows with the rest of the Leadership Team this summer. Despite his playfulness and joking nature, it doesn't take long to see that his first concern is for the safety of the children and the horses.
Lucas is the primary member of the Leadership Team. He consistently ensures that the kids in the Kid's Camp and young riders in the Horse Club are well taken care of. Lucas also spends a lot of time with his own brother, Greyson. He provides a helping hand and direction to all of us at the club, including his peers. Top

Mathilda has spent several summers at Pleasant Valley Horse Club. Mathilda is 12 and goes to Mission Hill Middle School. One day she would like to own her own horse facility. Mathilda is currently working with Donner, a running quarter horse and a great Western Pleasure prospect.
